Mirror, mirror

Wicked Queen, vainly peering into her mirror and still asking him:
"Mirror, mirror upon the wall, Who is the fairest of all?"
"Thou, O Queen, art the fairest of all,"
and the Queen was contented, because she knew the mirror could speak nothing but the truth.
Her vanity and envy are very human. It gives the tale its power.

This mirror is still watching you! ;)

Bow

Try to make something nice for your hair. It's simple. All you need is:
- paper origami / in this case paper swan :)
- acrylic colour - magenta
- old x-mas ornaments, i used the red star from plexiglass
- flowers wire
- plastic headband

Make your own origami animal, or flower (inspire on youtube).
Then paint the paper with acrylic colour.
The wire formed into a big bow and attach it to the headband.
Then attach the ornaments with thin wire. The joint should be firm.
Hurray for the party! ;)

Rock roses

Each of us has been a rebel, at least once. When I was a little child, I commenced a protest, because I couldn't munch candies, cause my milk teeth would go bad. So I munched.  This was not disobedience. The rebellion. When I was a teenager, I wore loose skate pants instead of skirts. Just then, I fought against my mom. No. Against the entrenched notion that the girl should be sweet and nice, perfect ethereal creature. Actually, when I was a teenager, I fought against everything and everyone. The rebel. When I was in college, I wore crazy combinations of clothes. cause I wanted to shock. So what. The rebel. I wanted all the attention. That I am here! And I keep my place.

Today it's me. Still it's me. Sometimes I'm quite ordinary and retiring. But sometimes he wakes up in me. He.. The Rebel!
We desire to be different and unique. We want to fall outside the average. We want to violate the rules. We need it. We hate uniformity. We are fighting against meaninglessness. We need to feel the taste of freedom.
And that's it.

Fashion is all about expression of feelings.  There have always been designers who love to push the boundaries.  Their works are strong and sensual..Their beauty is fragile. ..like rock roses
the rebels of fashion.

Walking on the Milky Way

When birds are changing into leaves,
follow their whispering of their wings.
The summer draws path into frame,
naked boughs are dancing in the flame.
Dark plash reflects memories by the moonlight,
it's time to dress in the robe of night.
Your uncertain step in the darkness ...splash.
be careful in the way how to keep your dream fresh.

Stars winking at you with one eye,
cruel wind makes clouds cry.
Your uncertain step in the darkness,
the circles slop over to its edge.
Birds settled down to the sky,
save the moment, you should try.

My favourite slovak poet

Rámcová kompozícia

Obraz si rám sám nevyberá.
Ten rám mu určí osud.
Boha ti dala tvoja viera.
A Boh dal tráve rosu.

Tak blízko býva do večera,
jak ďaleko je od rána.

Boh tvojmu breve určil rám.
Ten rám si prijal.

Veď ty sám
dal si mu meno Zuzana.

Supersized sunglasses

I'm looking for a long time big black sunglasses. It looks almost, that these eyewear were always here. They were and still are an essential part of any wardrobe ladies or gentleman, as well as crazy teenager, James Bond, Audrey Hepburn or Lady Gaga including. There are many shapes and sizes of black sunglasses. You can choose from classic models to the most extravagant pieces. Of all the models that I saw, I was especially attracted creation of Mickey Sunglasses by Jeremy Scott,  (www.lindafarrow.co.uk).

Designer Jeremy Scott has presents the Disney-inspired Mickey sunglasses for Spring 2010. The round sunglasses with coverse for both lenses, that when open make them look like Mickey Mouse, complete with ears. They really caught everyone’s attention.

Love it or hate it?
Ultimately, I fall in love.

Seen on Lady Gaga and Barbie!

Persol celebrates fifty years of La Dolce Vita with two new sunglasses styles inspired by 60s design. It celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of Federico Fellini’s legendary film La Dolce Vita, which was the most iconic moment in Italian cinema.  Persol will be presenting  sunglasses models, for men and women, which evoke the charm and appeal of Rome in the 60s.
